Nanay cooked pocherong manok for dinner. I love pochero! I told myself I won't eat rice for dinner today, but when I got home and saw what's on the dining table, yun na! Sorry diet, we'll start tomorrow, okay? Hahaha

Czad's 5th

Czad, the son of my dear friend Alma, turned 5 last Thursday (March 8). Since it was a weekday, the party was held today at McDonald’s, Meycauayan. The theme was Toy Story but Czad wanted an Angry Birds cake. Hehe Here's a photo of his uber cute cake, made by Rizza's.



Missing Boracay

I was browsing my phone gallery and got fixated on my recent Boracay trip pictures. I miss Boracay! Hope I could go back there early next year with my family.

Red Velvet

I just love red velvet cakes/cupcakes! Last month, I chanced upon a deal on CashCashPinoy which was offering a 50% discount on Cheesecake Melliza's red velvet cake. I purchased the voucher and claimed the cake yesterday.

The verdict: so-so... I super love Cheesecake Melliza's revel bars and cheesecakes but their version of the red velvet cake ain't so yummy. I still think Karen's Kitchen's is the best.

Kenny for Lunch

The team ordered Kenny Rogers for lunch... I had the burger steak (1/3 lbs. of beef) meal plus aked mac and cheese. Yummy!

Bracelet

I borrowed my Nanay's bracelet today and wore it to match my lavender blouse.

Eating with Mickey

Miggy's new feeding set... So cute! The set is like a puzzle, the drinking glass, spoon and fork can be placed into the plate, just like a puzzle. :) This is actually a pasalubong from Hongkong Disneyland from his Ninong Jerome. Thanks, Ninong! :)

Jenga

Got this today, it's a pasalubong from someone who just got home from Australia. This game is for me! My nickname is Jeng kase. Hehe

Punta Fuego

Three beach-on-a-weekend trips in a row... First was Subic, then Boracay. This time, it's Terrazas de Punta Fuego in Nasugbu, Batangas.

Salmon Cakes

Had luch with my friend, Jem, at Pancake House. I had the salmon cakes with brown rice. I wasn't so happy with it. :(

I super love this photo. Miggy was making faces while he was on his bike and this "gigil" moment was captured. So cute!

Bon Voyage, Pet!

My dear friend, Pet, is going back to Sydney on Friday. Our barkada had a send off dinner earlier at Fish & Co, then we capped the night off with coffee and a lot of chikahan.

Hello, Boracay!

After just five months, I'm back in this beautiful island. I'm here for work, though, not leisure. Hehe Our department is having its team building activities here. And where are we billeted? In Discovery Shores, no less! Sushality! Haha Earlier today, I took this photo of the beach fronting the resort.

White powdery sand + blue green sea + clear blue skies = paradise! I love Boracay!

 

Lights and Crystals

Our team had dinner at La Cocina de Tita Moning in Legarda, Manila. The dinner package included a tour of the 74-year old heritage home of the Legarda's, one of Manila's prominent families back in the day (up until now, actually). This is the chandelier, which can be seen upon entering the mansion's main door. 

  

Beach

Spent the weekend with my dear friends in All Hands Beach Resort in Subic. I liked the place, the sea is calm and the resort is not crowded.

Clouds

Took this earlier today, while we were driving along SCTEX en route to Subic. I love clouds! So relaxing. :)
